Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGB) Service Caps with Badge.

Iran’s elite Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGB), established after the 1979 Islamic Revolution to protect the regime from internal and external threats.

This was given to me by Pak Ken.

The IRGC operates parallel to but independently of the regular Iranian military, directly reporting to the Supreme Leader. It has evolved into a vast entity with responsibilities ranging from military defense to political and economic control. The IRGC includes specialized branches like the Quds Force, which handles foreign operations, and the Basij, a volunteer militia used domestically to enforce state ideology and suppress dissent.
