The Student Regiment, widely recognized as Menwa, is a civilian force dedicated to safeguarding the Republic of Indonesia through the Universal People’s Defense and Security System (Sistem Pertahanan dan Keamanan Rakyat Semesta).

Menwa serves as a reserve component of the national defense and security, equipped with essential military training encompassing weapon usage, combat tactics, survival skills, parachuting, military self-defense, military gymnastics, camouflage techniques, navigation, and more.

Shirt #1

This item originates from the renowned Siliwangi KODAM (Military Regional Command). I acquired it for my collection primarily due to the rare printed version of the Siliwangi patch, which adds to its uniqueness and value.

Shirt #2

The other shirt is from Regiment Mahadipa and with a parachuting badge. Both shirts are vintage and highly desirable. Despite their association with Menwa (not everyones’s favourite), they remain excellent pieces in their own right.
