This is a rare British 60 Pattern Smock in Disruptive Pattern Material/DPM camouflage.

Collectors refer to this as an original 1960 pattern DPM, produced around 1960 to early 1970’s. Is the first time British introduced the DPM camo.
The garment cutting is based on plain 60 pattern smock, but in DPM camo. Hence the name, 60 pattern in DPM camo. But not necessarily means that this is from 1960s. Just a quite confusing naming.

It features the “stitched” collar (please refer to 68 smock for comparison), a extra pen pocket on the upper right chest pocket, and pleats on both lower pockets. NZ zippers. Only two contractors made this 60 pattern smock, Cookson & Clegg LTD. and James Smith & Co.
Nomenclature reads: Smock Combat (1960 Pattern) 8405-99-122-7329 SIZE 1 NATO, Cookson & Clegg LTD., A/78/CLO/28791/DC69(1)
The pattern is predecessor of the 1968 pattern DPM combat jacket.

It’s Rare.
