Kompi Pemburu Rajawali Loreng Malvinas DPM Camo

Kompi Pemburu Rajawali. Anyone can help the unknown jump wings and Irvin Chute wings?

In mid-1995, Colonel Prabowo Subianto designed the three-month “Rajawali” counter-insurgency course, focusing on tracking and small-unit patrolling for infantry companies. These units were trained to split into 25-man hunter (pemburu) teams, optimized for mobility to pursue Fretilin forces and engage them on their own territory.

The first cycle of Rajawali in 1995 trained 12 companies under Kopassus auspices at Batujajar (derived from 10 infantry battalions, one Marines company, and 401 Airborne Battalion). Task Force Rajawali 1 was then, deployed to East Timor in October 1995 for a 10-month tour. The second cycle, Rajawali II, trained in April 1996 and deployed in August, with two of the companies sent to Irian Jaya against the OPM.

This particular shirt was made in the 1994/95 period, likely belonged to a Rajawali I team member (part of Yonif Linud 401/Banteng Raiders).

It features Dakibu (Pendaki Serbu), Pemburu, Indonesian Jump Wings, Hirbak, US jump wings, -unknown- jump wings, and Irvin chute wings. Sadly, the name tape and shoulder insignia were stripped off, but it remains a prized piece in my collection.

The Pemburu Badge attached is an early variation of the officially approved Pemburu patch.
