US OG-107 Type III shirt belonged to R. Soedarwoko – KOSTRAD, from the late 1970s. This uniform was a surplus from US, making its way to Indonesia in the late 1970s when American supplies were still flowing in including the Wine Leaf camouflage.



Contract year 1967: SHIRT, MAN’S, COTTON SATEEN, OG 107 DSA 100-67-C-3717 and sadly, all the original patches (except for the name tape) are gone. One confirmation of its use in Kostrad is the period modification of adding a small snap (labeled “555”) below the first button, a popular alteration at the time.

I believe this is the first time this information has been made publicly known, alongside period photographs of Syamsul Mappareppa wearing the OG-107 type 3 in the late 1970s, courtesy of Dunn Dundee.

Kemeja OG-107 Type III milik R. Soedarwoko – KOSTRAD, dari akhir 1970-an. Seragam ini merupakan surplus dari Amerika Serikat, masuk ke Indonesia pada masa ketika suplai perlengkapan dari AS masih banyak diterima, termasuk kamuflase Daun Anggur.

Sayangnya, seluruh patch asli (kecuali name tape) sudah tidak ada. Salah satu konfirmasi penggunaannya di KOSTRAD adalah period modification dengan penambahan kancing snap kecil di bawah kancing pertama. Saya percaya ini adalah pertama kalinya informasi ini dipublikasikan, disertai foto periode Syamsul Mappareppa yang mengenakan OG-107 Type III di akhir 1970-an, dengan izin dari Dunn Dundee.
