This private purchased shirt is from the 1965-1966 time period. It was worn by a FAC or ALO assigned to the 1st Cavalry Division.

Probably wore this shirt stateside and wore it when the 1st Cav was deployed to Vietnam in September 1965.

I got this from the author of Yankee Air Pirates: U. S. Air Force Uniforms and Memorabilia of the Vietnam War.

Attributed to Holley, it’s very rare shirt.
