Early RPKAD era beret or baret, attributed. I cannot share his name as agreed, i acquire all his uniform and personal belonging from his grandson. An early RPKAD member, joined in July 1962.
Mid-1965 the RPKAD unit were authorized to wear a red beret and badge designed by Dodo Sukampto.
As for the beret badge, it’s the 1st style (or so-called early) that consists of a bayonet, anchors representing abilities in the sea and wings as high mobility. The later version can be differentiate by more slimmer Commando knife.
This was used until 1968.
