Belgian 2nd Commando Battalion iconic Sherwood Green Beret! Known as 2e Bataillon de Commandos (2 Codo), part of the Special Operations Regiment (Belgium). From Pak Ken Conboy’s collection.

The green berets were adopted after Belgian soldiers in No. 10 (Inter-Allied) Commando during WWII, with the motto ‘United We Conquer’ on the beret badge. This particular one was made by Kangol Wear Limited, that gained notoriety for supplying berets to the British Army during WWII, most notably for General Bernard Montgomery.
