Malaysian 10th Parachute Brigade “Briged ke-10 Payung Terjun” Maroon Beret
The Malaysian 10th Parachute Brigade is an elite, hybrid airborne-marine unit within the Malaysian Army, serving as the key element of the Malaysian Rapid Deployment Force, known as Pasukan Aturgerak Cepat (PAC), or “Stormtrooper” (cool name, huh?)

Sadly, the beret does not have any date markings. The Brigade was downsized in December 1982 and renamed to Task Force 083, but it was later upgraded back to a brigade in January 1990. The maroon beret that known as ‘Pegasus’, is earned by completing both the Basic Parachutist Course and the Basic Rapid Deployment Force Course.

They have been trained as a substitute for the Marines; for example, in 2002, they received training from the US Marine Corps.
