Pvt. Nathanial Bond served in the US Army from September 1956 to May 1958 as a medic in the 3rd Armoured Division ‘Spearhead’. This shirt was worn by him during his stationing in Frankfurt, Germany until 1958.

I obtained the shirt directly from his daughter, originally there were three shirts available, but I was only able to acquire two from her.

The shirt is a standard Type I with brown buttons (50s). The name tape appears to be theater-made, as indicated by the slightly unusual font. The remaining patches of the shirt are US-made.
