Loreng SAMAR Komando, which stands for Spektrum Acak Mata Adaptasi Rekayasa, is a unique camouflage pattern created, engineered, and patented by Fairy Suryana. This exclusive camouflage is specifically issued to the SAT-81/Gultor elite unit of Kopassus (Komando Pasukan Khusus), known for their specialized operations.

The SAMAR camouflage is not available to civilians and only produced in limited quantities, as it has not been officially adopted. The exact number of units produced remains undisclosed, as it is kept secret.

This set made in 2011 (first batch), please note that the fabric is privately printed, while the sewing is contracted and supervised by Kopassus.

In addition to the main SAMAR pattern, there are other versions within the SAMAR camouflage family, including SAMAR Kristal, Kartika, Carka, Tropis, and Belantara. However, SAT-81 only utilizes two variations called SAMAR-Komando. The collection pictured above showcases an original SAMAR-Komando pattern, as well as an EPIC-treated version (will share soon).
