This DPM Assault vest was made by CQC and issued to Indonesian commandos—possibly a special purchases. It was experimental and tested by the SAS (information: QM Coy, Hong Kong).

Official designation is PACK COMBAT LIGHTWEIGHT, KJB-271-LN-KAP-111-85-BABEK, CQC PLC ENGLAND 1985. It has two large front ammo pouches and a big rear compartment.

I’ve gathered several period pictures. Some said it was the SAS 66/72 Pattern Vest.
