Circa early 70s, battalions under the 17 Brigade started using Kostrad’s Cakra beret badge. Still wanting to reflect their West Java lineage, they wear a kujang knife with miniature airborne wings on their beret until late 74.

This particular one is attributed to Mayor Inf (Har) Ara Suhara, it was worn when he was a commander of Ki C/328 – Yonif Linud Kudjang I Kostrad.

Badge itself is super rare, super happy for this one.
