Jungle jacket belonged to Howard of the 1st Brigade, 1st Cav. Div. (Airmobile).

The 1st Brigade consisted of three battalions: 1/8 Cavalry, 2/8 Cavalry, and 1/12 Cavalry. Although these units eventually lost their airborne status, some personnel continued to wear AIRBORNE tabs and jump wings, reflecting the brigade’s airborne heritage.
